Keller Plaza Cinema
4572 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129-1614
I like any movie theatre that doesn't insist I pay upward of $8 to catch a flick. Keller Plaza Cinema is one such theatre. Ticket prices are $3 for shows beginning before 6pm and $4 for shows at 6pm and after. You don't have to worry too much about the $4 price on Sundays and weekdays - the last showing is usually around 7:30pm. Weekends (Friday and Saturday), the last screening moves to around 10pm. Movies are those that are at the tail-end of their run at the other theatres, but are usually still too recent to have hit video.
The facilities are kept fairly clean, though weekends see a bit more trash accumulating on the floor (you can't expect a huge staff at these prices!) Concession prices are also a bit cheaper, ranging from $1 to $3.50, but are still pricier than smuggling in your own box of Milk Duds.
Keller has its own webpage and MySpace, but both sites are flimsy at best. I prefer Yahoo Movies for my one-stop shopping for movies. Yahoo is consistently updated (reliability is a huge plus to me), you can search theatres by zipcode, find movie summaries and showtimes, watch trailers, get directions, and buy tickets online for many theatres. If you have a Yahoo account, you can even sign in to save your favorite theatres.
