Kirkwood Train Station (main entertainment hub)
110 West Argonne, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122
Saturday, November 21
It's time for the annual Kirkwood Holiday Walk and you know what that means! Get down to Kirkwood early Saturday for the festivities!
At 10am, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the Kirkwood Train Station for pictures ($5 donation to the Kirkwood Police Explorer Scouts) and storytelling. Santa will accept letters from good little boys and girls. Babaloo arrives at 10:15 at Station Plaza to begin his performance, with other singers and dancers following throughout the day.
For five short hours, Kirkwood shops marked with a wreath on the door offer festive free samples (eggnog, cookies, coffee, mulling spices, candy, wine...), as well as steep discounts and bonuses for purchases made during the walk. The Holiday Trolley gives free rides around historic downtown Kirkwood to make browsing simple.
While taking part in the merriment, enjoy (all free!) Kaldi's coffee, McArthur's Bakery cookies, grilled hot dogs provided by the Kirkwood Kiwanis, and hot chocolate.
The Kirkwood Public Library is throwing their hat in the ring with free refreshments all day and a Gourd decoration program for children from 2-3pm.
Like that warm, prickling feeling in your chest when you give something back? There's plenty of opportunity at the Holiday Walk! Youth-In-Action will be collecting for both Nurses for Newborns and the Make-A-Wish foundation. They need canned food, baby food, and cash. UPS is doubling up, too, by collecting for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive and Letters to Our Heroes. Share the holiday spirit!
